A week with Jacob

After his summer semester class at UC Berkeley, Jacob was able to come home and spend a week with us.  It was great to see him and spend the little time we had just hanging out.  It makes me feel warm inside when I know my son is back in his room sleeping.  Sigh.

Now in his second year of living on his ‘own,’ Jacob has become quite the cook, much like his Dad.  So, after work when Jase and I got home dinner was ready and waiting.  On the menu was one of Jacob’s specialities, pork chops with yellow squash.  It was delicious.

We also took a trip to Los Angeles and spent the day eating and shopping.  The boy’s visits are never long enough.
