Lightning Storm

Last night a little after 1:00am in the morning we woke up to incredible sounds of thunder. By habit, as soon as I see a flash of light I start counting in the thousands to see how far the storm could be. And just like in the movie Poltergeist as the little kid starts counting down during the lightning storm the flash of light and the sounds of thunder get closer and closer was exactly what happen. I don’t ever remember a storm this big being so close.

Sitting at my bedroom window with it wide open I was mesmerize on the full beauty I was witnessing. I never seen so many lighting “bolts” in my life. Just than it occurred to me that I should get my camera. I was able to get a few good pics but of course my battery went dead after 18 shots. Ugh!!!
